Aluminum
Aluminum element with the chemical symbol Al and atomic number 13 is placed in the boron group of the periodic table and is known as the most abundant element after oxygen and silicon. Aluminum
Aluminum (Al) is a light weight silvery white metal of the main group 13 (IIIa or group boron) of the periodic table. An amazing fact about aluminum is that it is the most abundant metal on Earth, accounting for more than 8% of the mass of the Earth's core. It is the third most common chemical element on our planet after oxygen and silicon. Due to its chemical activity, aluminum never exists in the form of metal in nature, but its compounds are more or less present in almost all rocks, vegetation, and animals. It is concentrated in the outer 16 kilometers of the Earth's crust. The name aluminum comes from the Latin word alumen.
