Sodium hydroxide (Caustic Soda)

Sodium hydroxide is used for the production of soap, rayon, paper, explosives, dyes, and petroleum products. It is also used in cotton fabric processing, washing and bleaching, cleaning and metal processing, oxide coating, electroplating and electrolytic extraction. It is usually found in commercial drains and cleaners.

Sodium hydroxide (Caustic Soda)

Caustic soda is a well-known strong base which is used in many industries. About 56% of the production of sodium hydroxide is used in industries, 25% of it is used in food industry. The main use of sodium hydroxide is in sodium salts and detergents, as a pH regulator and synthesis of organic substances. NaOH is also used in Bayer's process for aluminum production.
